If there’s one thing BFGoodrich is known for, it’s their tough tires. They have over 115 year of experience designing, innovating, and producing rubber that suit any driving condition, making them a perfect match for the Philippines.
The latest they came up with are the new Advantage T/A® Drive and T/A® SUV tires that offer an upgraded, smooth, and pleasant long lasting ride at a “reasonable price.”
Both Advantage T/A models are best suited for city and urban driving. BFGoodrich boasts that they feature an “enhanced symmetric tread design with rigid tread blocks and shoulder” and “jagged grooves.” We’re not tire engineers, but these somehow improve handling and control in any weather or demanding road condition, or we were told.
There are also “large tread blocks with deep wide longitudinal, latitudinal grooves and sipes” that makes Advantage T/A tires perform really well during braking whether on dry or wet surfaces.
Best of all, Advantage T/A utilizes a multiple ply design with reinforced shoulder and bead areas to make them extra “tough.”
If you ask us, all this technical jargon really sounds like BFGoodrich did their homework. It’s as if the Advantage T/A is specifically designed to survive the extreme road (and weather) conditions of the Philippines. Thankfully, 2 versions are now available in local stores since February 2017.
BFGoodrich Advantage T/A® Drive is suited for micro, subcompact, and compact cars. There are 31 sizes on stock for 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 inch rims. Meanwhile, BFGoodrich T/A® SUV is for crossovers and 7-seat SUVs, with 17 sizes ranging from 15 to 18 inch rims.
