Ever since January 2016, thanks to a new government mandate, fuels sold in the Philippines must be Euro 4 compliant. All oil companies had to strictly follow this rule, all except Petron Corporation who decided they can do even better.
Because that’s what you naturally do when you’re the market leader, which is to set the bar high. Really high.
These guys beat everyone in meeting Euro 4 standard, re-launching their cleaner fuel line up months ahead of the gov’t requirement. Then, without anyone telling them to do so, Petron upgraded its Blaze 100 to Euro 5 late last year just because they want to give us even cleaner fuels. Unsatisfied with what they’ve achieved so far, they’re now going one step higher by giving us Petron Blaze 100 Euro 6.
Yes, it’s now the cleanest, most advanced, and only Euro 6 premium gasoline fuel in the country.
As compared to Euro 4 (50 ppm*), Euro 6 fuels has 80% less sulfur (10 ppm) and must not exceed the solid Particle Number (PN) limit. Tests show that Petron Blaze 100 Euro 6 is 3x cleaner than what Euro 6 requires.

Ang.

Blaze 100 Euro 6 is now available in nearly 300 Petron service stations nationwide and growing.
