This is why you shouldn’t drive slowly in the left lane

Passing Lane

Here’s a fun fact. The left lane on the highway is FOR OVERTAKING ONLY. That’s why it’s called the PASSING LANE. And no, it’s NOT the ‘fast lane’ and whoever told you that is a liar.

It also doesn’t matter whether you’re driving on the speed limit. Although logic dictates that no one should go above the limit, if you’re not overtaking, you’re not supposed to be in the left lane. And lastly, when we say ‘highway’ we refer to all roads that have 2 or more lanes that go in the same direction, not just expressways.

Hogging the left lane is not only annoying, it’s also illegal and most importantly, unsafe.

You’re welcome.
