Every year, a bunch of local motoring journalists put their heads together to determine which of all the newly-launched vehicles is the best of them all. This is the Car Awards Group Inc.’s (CAGI) Car of the Year Philippines and the 2015 winner is the all-new Mazda 2.
Or more specifically, the Mazda 2 Skyactiv R 4-door.
This subcompact sedan is no stranger to winning awards as prestigious as this. It has previously won the 2014 – 2015 edition of the Japan Car of the Year and the 2015 Car of the Year by Car Dealer Power Awards in the UK. And as for the Philippines, it did so by beating 64 other entries in 21 categories that includes the Subcompact Car class which it had also won.
Congratulations little Mazda.
