In an effort to improve the “overall Ford ownership experience,” Ford Philippines has lowered prices of their ‘scheduled service maintenance’ at the dealers. This corresponds to a cost reduction of around 20% for the EcoSport, 18% for the Everest, and 15% for the Ranger. Hooray!
The scope covers a 6 month (or 10,000 km) service interval, labor, and replacement parts that include fully-synthetic engine oil, oil filter, engine air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter, brake fluid, and spark plugs. Other conditional parts such as tires, batteries, brake pads, and wiper blades, however, are charged on an as-needed basis.
“We recognize that cost of ownership is an important purchase consideration for our customers, so we are pleased to implement a more competitive cost structure for them,” said Bertrand Lessard, Managing Director of Ford Philippines. “Together with our Ford dealers, we will deliver a more compelling offer for our scheduled service maintenance.”
Although they won’t say what the old rates were, an EcoSport 1.5L 6-speed PowerShift now costs P58,620 to maintain over a 5-year period. The top-of-the-line Everest 3.2L 6-speed AT 4×4, on the other hand, mounts up to P138,290. In comparison, a Ranger 2.2L 6-speed MT 4×2 is slightly less at P126,450.
The new prices are in effect starting the 30th of April 2018 can be seen online on Ford.com.ph. But to make things simpler, here’s the detailed list below.
