Mazda has an engineering philosophy they call ‘Jinba Ittai’. This literally translates to ‘horse-and-rider-as-one’ and is the design foundation for every new vehicle they build today. What it delivers is a unique driving experience where the vehicle becomes a natural extension of the driver.
If you’ve never driven a Mazda before, and have no clue what we’re talking about, you’re missing out on A LOT. That’s why Mazda Philippines came up with the ‘Jinba Ittai Academy’ where you test drive any of their cars this weekend.
It’s happening from November 23 to 26, at the corner of 38th and 9th streets (near Uptown Mall) in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Here you can sign up and drive the refreshed 2018 CX-3, all-new CX-5, and all-new CX-9 on a specially-designed Jinba Ittai course. There’ll also be a circuit to demonstrate the capabilities of the Mazda 2, Mazda 3, and Mazda 6, highlighting the connection between the driver and car.
While you’re there, make sure to look for 10-time Philippine National Rally Champion Vip Isada or his crew of driving instructors. Sit in one of their lectures and learn how to tune your senses to feel the subtleties in vehicle dynamics of each Mazda model.
“Jinba Ittai is Mazda’s guiding principle in its quest to achieve heightened driving enjoyment together with a premium passenger riding experience,” shares Steven Tan, President and CEO of Bermaz Auto Philippines, the exclusive distributor of Mazda vehicles in the country. “Mazda brings the driver and his car together through this fundamental engineering philosophy so the experience behind the wheel can be fun while, at the same time, less tiring for all riding passengers. This unique feeling is what we want our customers to discover during their time at the Jinba Ittai Academy.”
Once you’re sold on the experience, Mazda will be offering on-site special deals so you can make a reservation during the event.
