Ideally, the best place to have your car serviced is at the dealership, or what Filipinos refer to as ‘casa’. One good example is Honda.
Their duly-authorized service centers will have Honda-trained technicians, that use only genuine Honda spare parts and lubricants, and follow Honda-approved procedures when they work. Plus, you won’t void the 3-year or 100,000 km warranty, whichever comes first.
Although it could be pricey-er (as compared to a ‘talyer’), think of it as an investment on your safety and peace of mind. Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) also wants us all to know they have one of the lowest Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) costs of any brand in the market. Mainly they say, it’s because their vehicles ‘only’ needs to undergo PMS every 6 months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first. That’s 2 visits per year as compared to other brands that requires 4.
But that’s not what we’re after. What we really want to know is how much does it cost to have a Honda serviced at the dealer, which HCPI happily published online.
The chart covers their entire lineup, from the Brio, City, Mobilio, Civic, all the way to the Legend. It breaks down every PMS visit, on what needs to be replaced and the expected bill, from 6 months up to the 10th year of ownership.

No, this is not a paid advert. We just happened to stumble upon cool stuff on the web, which we think will be of help to Honda owners. You’re welcome.
