Now on its 2nd season, Super Sprint announces an exciting new title partnership with the AISIN Group. The global automotive parts maker will accompany the multi-round championship in 2023 as it challenges racers, enthusiasts, and amateur drivers who can drive the quickest around a gymkhana-style fixed cone course.
AISIN offers a comprehensive product range of parts for engines, drivetrains, brakes, and lubricants that exceeds industry quality and safety standards. Established in 1965, the group also caters to aftermarket customers making an extensive lineup of customization parts available worldwide. These are aligned with the values of the Super Sprint Series as an event created for a safe and fun gateway into motorsports, fit for beginner and intermediate drivers alike, with a strong emphasis on driving experience.
Speaking of the partnership Kelly Leong Sau Eng, Assistant Manager of Marketing for AISIN Asia Pte Ltd., said “AISIN is honored to be the official sponsor of the 2023 Super Sprint series and all Grupo Toyota events. We look forward to many successes ahead and making this an unforgettable experience for all.”
Super Sprint has scheduled at least four (4) events this year, which kicks off on the 19th of March at the R33 Drift Track in Pampanga. Succeeding rounds will take place on the 18th of June, 3rd of August, and 19th of November at different venues across the country. Participants may then enter any of the four (4) categories / nine (9) classes designed for drivers, amateur to experienced, and different types of vehicles from modified to stock.
As part of the agreement, the AISIN branding will be featured on all posters, event collaterals during the races, podium backdrop, and winner trophies. The logo will also appear on all cars participating in the Super Sprint series.
2023 marks Super Sprint’s return to a full season calendar after a long hiatus due to the global pandemic.
“We feel privileged to partner with such a prestigious organization such as AISIN, and together we are excited to bring to the public a bigger, and better Super Sprint series in 2023,” shared Super Sprint founder Robert Tan.
AISIN Group’s support also includes Grupo Toyota – a family-oriented community of Toyota enthusiasts who have come together to share their love of vehicles, motorsports, and everything related to the brand. It is one of the biggest car club groups in the Philippines with over 18,000 registered members worldwide. AISIN will be present at all its gatherings scheduled on the 30th of April, 30th of July, and 3rd of December to create brand awareness and share all its products to Grupo Toyota members.
The AISIN brand is solely imported by Riken Motor Sales in the Philippines.
