Formula 4 SEA' race at the Clark International Speedway is this weekend

You’re going to have to clear your schedule for this weekend, because Formula 4 South East Asia (F4 SEA) is in town. The single-seater championship will be racing at the Clark International Speedway (CIS) from October 20/22 and whether you love motorsports or not, you do not want to miss this.

Sharing the track with the Caterham Motorsport Championship, the second event in their 2017/2018 calendar covers 3 days of non-stop on-track action. Driver testing will be on Friday. Free Practice, Qualifying, and 2 x Races on Saturday. Then, there will be 4 x Races on Sunday.

Sunday (October 22)

10:20 AM | Caterham Motorsport Championship (Race 2)
10:55 AM | Formula 4 SEA (Race 4)
12:05 PM | Hot Lap w/ Caterham
01:30 PM | Formula 4 SEA (Race 5)
02:05 PM | Caterham Motorsport Championship (Race 3)
04:05 PM | Formula 4 SEA (Race 6)

Although F4 SEA has yet to publish an official entry-list, we expect to see drivers from all around Asia to fly in for the weekend. Names to watch out for include Daniel Cao from China and Nazim Azman from Malaysia who shined during the season opener at the Malaysian F1 Grand Prix. We’ve also confirmed that brothers Ben and Sam Grimes will join the grid and race the Philippine flag, so don’t forget to cheer for them.

Ben tested in F4 SEA last year, campaigned a full season in the 2017 Formula Masters Series with Pinnacle Motorsport, and should be right up there with the leaders.

Sponsored by Petron Corporation, the Formula 4 SEA runs on Petron Blaze 100 Euro 6 fuel and Petron Blaze Racing engine oil.

To watch the race live, entrance to the Clark International Speedway is free on Saturday and P60 / person on Sunday. Those with vehicles must pay P200 for parking.
