Pinnacle Motorsport has announced that a 3rd driver will be joining their ranks in the Formula 4 UAE Championship (F4 UAE). Hiyu Yamakoshi is scheduled to enter mid-season for Round 4 and 5 of the 2024 season in February.
This will be Yamakoshi’s second time driving for the Motorsport Ireland-licensed team. He entered 2 rounds in F4 UAE last yea and finished in a best-placed 7th at Kuwait Motor Town. Then moving to Europe, he competed in a full season in the French F4 Championship where he scored 5 podiums and ended up 5th in the standings. Yamakoshi also joined 5 events in Spanish F4 during the 2023 calendar.
He officially marks his F4 UAE return in Round 4 this coming February 9/11 at the Yas Marina Circuit before heading to the season ender at the Dubai Autodrome a week after. Yamakoshi will be racing alongside teammates Kai Daryanani from India and Yuhao Fu from China who have a full season program with Pinnacle Motorsport.
