Seminar on how to be a Karting Team Owner offered this weekend

So you’ve decided to put up your own karting team. Whether you’re doing it as a hobby, as a parent of a young karter, or simply have a passion for the sport, Ehpaf Racing (who happens to be the promoter of Rotax Max Challenge Philippines) is offering a seminar this weekend on how to get things started.

The session is open to all “aspiring team owners” and is FREE-OF-CHARGE. Its curriculum covers:

  • How to find and recruit drivers
  • Managing your crew (mechanic, coach, tuner, admin)
  • Organization logistics
  • Practice and race sessions
  • Setting the team’s direction
  • Sell equipment and services
  • Chassis and engine setup
  • Hunting for trophies

Supported by Rotax Max Philippines and Ehpaf Racing, the Team Owner Program will take place on October 19 (Saturday) at the Pampanga International Circuit. It starts at 9:00 AM up to 12:00 NN. Then after the seminar, they will offer free training sessions to motivated candidates.

Karting Team Seminar

“We now want to share our experience and knowledge to aspiring team owners and help karting grow in the country. Not only will we explain how to get started, but also help and support new teams as they enter the sport,” shared City Kart Racing Team Principal, Jean-Marc Freihuber. “We believe that a lot of have the passion for motorsport to become successful team owners, they just need a first step.”

Want in? Aspiring team owners can register by sending an e-mail to [email protected] containing a short introduction of yourself, on your age, work, academic background, knowledge about racing, and motivation to enter seminar.
