Spotter Guide for the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2016

The 84th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will easily host the biggest grid in recent history. Tracking 60 entries twice round the clock, however, can be a problem. For that, there’s Andy Blackmore Design and his Dunlop 2016 Le Mans Spotter Guide.

Breaking things down, Andy’s guide features all 9 entries in LMP1, 23 in LMP2, 14 in GTE Pro, 13 in GTE Am, and a special Garage 56 entrant for the SRT41 Morgan LMP2 driven by quadruple amputee Frederic Sausset. It illustrates each unique livery and details each machine’s race number, class, team name, drivers, and chassis/engine combo. The guide even goes as far as to list down every team’s Twitter handle in case you wanted to follow their feed.

But of all of this year’s competitors, the one you should really keep an eye on is the No. 33 Eurasia Motorsport ORECA 05 Nissan that’s flying the Philippine flag.

On Page 3 you’ll see the Circuit de la Sarthe with all of its turns and sectors, technical regulations for the different classes, and other useful info about the race.

Do note that the guide you see now is based on the latest Le Mans Test Day and might be updated Post Scrutineering if there would be any driver or livery changes. You may visit SpotterGuides.com for the latest version.

The 2016 Le Mans 24 Hour race will get the green flag on Saturday, 18th of June at 9:00 PM (Philippine time).
