The Philippines’ best-selling SUV (or at least the last time we checked) is starting to get old. That’s why Mitsubishi has come up with a timely replacement for the Montero Sport, which should look something like this.
We do realize that it’s a dim, vague, and lone photo of the all-new 2017 Montero Sport. That’s because Mitsubishi is still trying to keep things under wraps… at least for now. But what we can decipher from it is that, while it shares its underpinnings with the all-new Strada, the exterior styling is completely different.
The front end is more reminiscent of the XR-PHEV concept with its huge lower intake and sleek headlamps, while the side profile features a very distinct and muscular belt-line.
Unfortunately, no amount of photo-editing will reveal the full image.
We guess we’ll just have to wait until Mitsubishi globally unveils their all-new SUV at the 2015 Bangkok Auto Show this August 1.
