If you’re a Grab driver or employee, listen closely. Your employer, by this we mean ride-sharing platform Grab, will be issuing each and every one of you your own Grab-branded Petron Value Card. And it’ll be handed out for free.
Thanks to this new partnership between Corporation and Grab, Grab drivers now earn peso-points every time you fill up at Petron. That covers Petron Blaze 100, XCS, Xtra Advance, Turbo Diesel, and Diesel Max. These earned points can then be used to pay for your next tank of gas, also at Petron of course, or converted into cellphone load, air miles, groceries, or movie tickets.
Grab drivers also get all the other Petron Value Card perks such as 1) Free 24/7 towing and roadside assistance; 2) Free personal accident insurance coverage worth P10,000 for accidental death and P1,000 medical treatment, and 3) Privileges at partner establishments.
In other words, the Grab x Petron Value Card is pretty much your standard Petron Value Card, but with a Grab logo.
“Our goal has always been to take care of our Peers and drivers, and we want to stretch their income in any way we can. We are positive that this partnership with Petron will give our drivers more flexibility in their expenses,” said Grab Philippines Country Head Brian Cu.
Grab drivers and employees can claim their co-branded Grab x Petron Value Card at the stations in Libis, Araneta-Cubao, Fisher Mall, Manila, Imus, and Metro East. Oh, except for Grab Taxi drivers, because you guys can’t have nice things.
