The Automobile Association Philippines (AAP), the country’s oldest and largest auto club, has announced a new partnership with Petron Corporation naming the oil leader as their official fuel partner.

As part of the deal, Petron has created a bespoke co-branded Petron Value Card (PVC) for AAP members and employees. This allows them to avail of a special discount for every liter of fuel – P1.20/L for Petron Blaze 100, XCS, and Xtra Advance gasoline and P0.70/L for Petron Turbo Diesel and Diesel Max. They’re also guaranteed a safe, smooth, and efficient drive as all Petron fuels are formulated with the same TriAction benefits that guarantees better power, better efficiency, and better engine protection.

AAP-Petron Value Card holders are also entitled to the same PVC perks at partner establishments, free towing and road-side assistance, and year-round personal accident insurance.

Petron and the AAP has shared a long-standing relationship in promoting road safety and motorsports.

Petron’s Lakbay Alalay is the longest-running motorist assistance program in the country that spans more than 3 decades. It also recently launched its Fuel Wise advocacy which aims to empower the motoring public to become more responsible and informed with their choices. For its part, the AAP also has a long-running campaign that raises awareness on proper road habits.

The 2 companies also collaborated in 2019 for the AAP’s Motorsport Development Program (MSDP), making Petron Corporation as the grassroots training platform’s official fuel, oil, and lubricant provider.
