Philippine Motorsport Expo to bring racing community in one big event

The local racing community is rich and diverse, but no one has ever attempted to unite all that passion and history under one roof. That’s about to change thanks to the people behind the Philippine Motorsport Expo (PMX) as they bring all the stakeholders in the industry into a 2-day event this coming October.

PMX’s goal is to shine a long overdue spotlight on the auto racing industry, focusing on the racers and race organizers. To do this, the event will offer FREE CAR DISPLAYS for RACE CARS and RACE ORGANIZERS on a first come, first served basis. It gives key industry movers a platform to promote themselves, their sponsors, and the sport that they love. Businesses that support local motorsport are also able to showcase their products, race shops, and other motorsport services through affordable exhibit spaces.

Staged at the Blue Bay Walk in Macapagal, Pasay City from the 15th to 16th of October, the PMX will also feature panel discussions and meet-and-greets with a number of key Philippine racing luminaries. Names such as Marlon Stockinger, Michele Bumgarner, and current W Series driver Bianca Bustamante are expected to grace the event.

Other planned activities on site for visitors will include souvenir shops, raffles, sim racing contests, and race car photo areas.

Aside from just promoting the sport, the PMX’s mission is to educate safety in all levels of motorsports be it grassroots or professional racing. In this, it has the support of the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) the national affiliate of the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

The Philippine Motorsport Expo is supported by Metropark, Blue Bay Walk, Toyota Manila Bay, Alpinestars by AutoPerformance Motorsport, Brembo, Aguila Auto Glass, Walter Sound and Stage Lighting, Partspro, and Project Vector.
