The best thing about every new year is that we all get a fresh, clean start. Or in Hino Motors Philippines’ (HMP) case, 2018 is their chance to introduce a cleaner truck and bus lineup that all now run on Euro 4-compliant engines.
This move by HMP is in compliance with the government’s new regulations that aims to reduce the country’s carbon footprint. But apparently there’s a bonus to cleaner emissions. Hino’s new Euro 4 engines are also said to offer increased engine durability and greater cost efficiency which benefits its operators.
HMP’s new Euro 4-compliant fleet includes big, small, and everything in between. The updated list covers their Tractor Heads, Cab & Chassis Trucks, Dump Trucks, Cargo Cranes, Wing Vans, and Refrigerated Vans. Of course there’s also their 31-seater Cerito and 62-seater Grandeza Buses that are now fitted with more environment-friendly engines. They also didn’t forget about their ‘Hino Jeepney Class 3 AC’, which is their take on the modern jeepney as part of the government’s PUV modernization program. Yes, that’s Euro 4-compliant too.
