What if we tell you that, you can win a brand new Subaru simply by placing you hand on a car, keeping it there for as long as possible, and longer than anyone else? Yep, it’s possible. This is the Subaru Palm Challenge where the grand winner this 2017 will drive home a brand new Subaru Impreza.
If you’re up for the task, the Philippine Leg will be held this September 9 to 10 at Bonifacio High Street in BGC. All participants in the eliminations must place their palm on a car, outlast all the other contestants, ’til only 10 people are left standing. These top 10 from the Philippines will then be flown on an all-expense paid trip to Singapore and compete against the best competitors from 9 other Asian countries.
Whoever lasts the longest in Singapore takes home the Subaru Impreza. But there are also other prizes up for grabs. Paid in cash, the Country Winner is awarded to the last person standing for each country, the Asian Winner to the last person standing for all regional countries except Singapore, and the Country Team prize for the country with the highest total time.
To give you an idea what you’re up against, the grand winner in 2016 lasted for 75 hours and 58 minutes.
Registration for the Philippine Leg is now on-going, but is limited to around only 125 slots. It’s open to 18-year-olds that have a Philippine passport and is in good health. You may register at Subaru Showrooms in Greenhills, Global City, Manila Bay, Alabang, Batangas, Cebu, and Davao or through www.subarupalmchallenge2017.com.ph.
