Motorsport Ireland-licensed team Pinnacle Motorsport has confirmed a 4-car entry for the upcoming 2025 Formula Regional Middle East Championship Certified by FIA (FRMEC). This consists of Ernesto Rivera and Finley Green who will compete in all 5 events, with Giovanni Maschio and Jesse Carrasquedo joining the first 2 rounds.
Red Bull Junior Team driver Ernesto Rivera made his single-seater debut in 2023 in the Spanish F4 Championship. The 16-year-old Mexican was immediately a front-running driver—regularly finishing in the top 10 with a podium and race win to his name.
Joining him is Finley Green who returns for another season in FRMEC. The British driver raced with Pinnacle Motorsport in 2024 before moving to Eurocup-3.
Italian driver Giovanni Maschio also makes a comeback in FRMEC with the team. His best result last year was a 9th place finish at Yas Marina and will join Pinnacle Motorsport for the first 2 events in 2025.
Completing the lineup is another Mexican driver Jesse Carrasquedo. The 17-year-old had a full year in 2024 competing in FRMEC, FRECA, and Eurocup-3. Like Maschio, he’s only entering the double-header at Yas Marina.
The 2025 calendar is mostly unchanged with the first 2 rounds taking place at the Yas Marina Circuit in January. There’s a quick stop at the Dubai Autodrome for Round 3 in February before returning to Yas Marina for Round 4. The highlight of the year is the addition of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit—home of the Saudi Arabian GP—which fittingly serves as the season ender on the 25th of February.
