Whether you love cars or not, Volkswagen Philippines is inviting everyone to ‘VWorld Weekend’ (VW + World = VWorld. Get it?) this November 12/13. It’s going to be held in Capitol Commons Park, Pasig City where they’ll have activities, games, and kiddie stuff for the entire family.
This is obviously a marketing exercise to get you to take one of their cars home. But screw that. Just go and have a good time. No strings attached.
Obviously you’ll find Volkswagen’s vehicle line-up on display which you can touch, sit in, and take selfies with. They’ll even let you take them out for a quick spin by signing up for a test drive. Be sure to bring your driver’s license and no hoonigans please. We just want to put it out there that, if you’re buying one, they’ll be more than happy to offer you special financing deals during the VWorld Weekend.
As for those who want to feel nostalgic, the Volkswagen Club of the Philippines will also be flaunting their beautiful prized possessions at the show.
There will be other non-car things too at VWorld Weekend. You (or your kids, if you have any) can stuff your bellies full of popcorn and cotton candy that they’ll be giving out. There’s also going to be a Kombi food truck at the venue if you want to eat some more. Or maybe try out the face painting, glitter tattoo, and photo booths if you’re into that kind of thing.
Parents, please don’t forget to bring your kids to the Child Safety Initiative (CSI) booth. This is Volkswagen’s award-winning road safety advocacy which teaches children responsible driving practices. Don’t worry, it’s going to be educational and fun.
VWorld Weekend is open from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM on November 12 and 13, 2016.
