ENEOS Super Sprint Circuit Cup Rd 2 caps off 2025 season at CIS

Round 2 of the 2025 ENEOS Super Sprint Circuit Cup wrapped up the Super Sprint Series with a milestone event at Clark International Speedway (CIS), closing out another year of grassroots motorsports in the Philippines.

What began as a simple parking-lot sprint series has now stepped up into a full-circuit competition. With a 33-car grid filled mostly with first-time circuit racers alongside a handful of veterans, the event showcased how far the Super Sprint community has come while staying true to its roots of accessibility, sportsmanship, and fun.

Under clear skies and optimal track conditions, drivers pushed hard to chase personal bests around the 4.189 km circuit. Iñigo Anton once again set the benchmark in the Pro Class, stopping the clock at 2:08.346, while George Apacible followed with a 2:23.235 best.

The Prepped Class 1 battle saw Lowie Jean Panlican edge out Rich Mark Young with a 2:23.989 against 2:32.226. In the Amateur Street Modified Class 1, John David Quadra led the way with a 2:36.598 time, as Franklin Louis Co Ng topped Amateur Super Street Class 3 on a 2:26.493 lap.

Close gaps across most categories highlighted just how competitive the field has become. Yet beyond the lap times, what stood out was the atmosphere: experienced drivers mentoring newcomers, friendly rivalries pushing everyone to improve, and a paddock that felt more like a family gathering than a race weekend.

With the 2025 season now complete, attention turns to an even bigger year ahead. The 2026 Super Sprint Sprint Series kicks off in February, followed by the Circuit Cup in July. Before that, participants can look forward to the Super Sprint Clinic and Year-End Awards Ceremony, which will recognize top performers and key community members.

Super Sprint is presented by ENEOS Philippines with support from AutoPerformance PH, MOMO Philippines, and PartsPro.
