The 2025 V1 & 1NZ Unity Cup powered by GT Radial wraps up with a true test of endurance as it returns to Clark International Speedway (CIS) on November 22–23.
Serving as a support race to the Makabayan Endurance Cup, the V1 & 1NZ Unity Cup continues to deliver close racing between the purpose-built Formula V1 Challenge cars and Toyota 1NZ machines, all running on GT Radial tires. The final round will see a grid of mixed classes sharing the track for two hours non-stop — a contest of both speed and strategy, where teams must manage pit stops, driver changes, and tire wear to perfection.
Expect plenty of action as drivers and teams fight for championship glory.
Among those to watch is Alain Alzona from General Santos, who will once again compete in both the V1 Challenge and the Makabayan Endurance race. His consistency and experience have made him a crowd favorite, and he’ll be looking to close out the season on a high.
Adding star power to the grid is celebrity racer Troy Montero, set to reignite his rivalry with Andre Rodrigues of Portugal. The pair went head-to-head in a fierce battle during the last round, with Rodrigues coming out on top. This weekend’s two-hour format offers a new stage for their rivalry — one that will demand both pace and patience.
The lineup also features several veterans from the Vios OMR program, including Oliver Aquino, Oliver Estrella, and Paolo Ang. Meanwhile, the 1NZ Cup grid is expected to be one of the biggest yet, with many competitors also joining the 8-hour Makabayan Endurance race later in the weekend.
“We’re excited to see how this final round unfolds,” said JP Tuason, Series Director. “Combining the V1 and 1NZ grids under the Makabayan Endurance Cup creates one of the biggest and most competitive fields we’ve had. It’s going to be a true test of endurance and teamwork.”
“GT Radial remains dedicated to supporting Philippine motorsports,” added Mannix Ocampo, Director of GT Radial. “Through our partnership with Tuason Racing and the V1 & 1NZ Cup, we continue to prove the performance of our tires on the race track while helping the sport grow.”
The V1 & 1NZ Unity Cup takes place on November 22–23 at Clark International Speedway. Admission is free for spectators, with food and drinks available at the track cafeteria.
The series is proudly supported by GT Radial, Novellino, Fitbar, Rota, Toptul, OMP, and Imprint Customs.
