From dominating the local scene to taking on Asia’s best drivers, Mikey Jordan is set for the biggest step of his racing career so far as he joins AK Chance Racing for the 2026 Superrace Championship 6000 in South Korea. The two-time SEAOIL Radical Challenge Philippines SR3 Champion will pilot the team’s #23 entry and line up against a competitive field of 15 drivers across six teams.
The Super 6000 class represents the top tier of the Superrace Championship, featuring identical stock car machines wrapped in Toyota Gazoo Racing Supra MK5 silhouette bodywork. Built on tubular spaceframe chassis and weighing a minimum of 1,270 kg, the cars are powered by a 460 hp 6.2L V8 engine, capable of reaching speeds of over 300 km/h.
Each race weekend features two qualifying sessions, followed by a main race lasting approximately one hour, or around 30 laps depending on the circuit.
As the only non-Korean driver on the grid, the move marks a significant transition for Mikey. He steps up from the lightweight Radical SR3 prototype to a heavier, high-powered touring car, while also adapting from short sprints to longer, more demanding one-hour races. The 2026 campaign will also see him take on three new international circuits for the first time.
