The 2025 championship for the SEAOIL Radical Challenge Philippines was a fight to the finish. With four races, double points, and both titles still undecided, the country’s fastest racing series returned to Clark International Speedway for its most intense weekend yet — and it didn’t disappoint. In the end, Mikey Jordan of Jordan Racing bounced back from early setbacks to clinch back-to-back SR3 Challenge Cup titles, while Juha Turalba completed a near-flawless rookie campaign to be crowned SR1 Challenge Cup champion.
Fueled by race-engineered SEAOIL Extreme-97 fuel, Qualifying kicked off on Friday with SR3 points leader Mikey Jordan securing pole position. Miguel Quiñones lined up in P2, crucially ahead of SR1 title rival Juha Turalba in P3. But the opening race quickly turned the weekend upside down.
Jordan was in control of Race 1 with the SR1 pack jostling for position behind him. Turalba quickly slotted into P2 at the start, chased closely by Quiñones. But in his push to stay in the fight, Quiñones spun on lap 4—just moments before Jordan’s #23 machine suffered an electrical failure, forcing him to retire trackside and putting his title hopes in doubt. Turalba cruised to victory in the sky-blue #44 T2 Racing SR1, followed by Quiñones in 2nd and wildcard returnee Gilad Krein in 3rd. Caceres inherited the SR3 win with Jordan out—but not before Jordan set a new track record of 1:52.062.
Jordan could only watch his championship lead slip away as repairs on his car forced him to sit out Race 2. Vedant Agrawal started from pole but was quickly overtaken by Jaime Almario in the #97 SEAOIL-liveried SR1, Turalba, and Quiñones on the opening lap. His race went from bad to worse when he retired on lap 2, triggering a brief Safety Car period. Turalba wasted no time retaking the lead at the restart, with Quiñones moving up to 2nd soon after. Almario held firm in 3rd as the trio locked out the SR1 podium. In SR3, Caceres secured another class win—and with it, the provisional championship lead.
Saturday marked a fresh start for Jordan, who delivered a statement drive by charging from last to the lead on the opening lap of Race 3. Turalba remained untouchable in SR1, while Quiñones found himself in a fierce scrap with Almario and Krein. Almario eventually spun under pressure and dropped to the back, while Caceres’ title hopes took a hit after retiring with a mechanical issue. Jordan’s dominant win swung the momentum back in his favor, reclaiming the SR3 points lead. Turalba extended his winning streak in SR1, with Quiñones 2nd and Krein completing the podium in 3rd.
The final race offered double points—and one last shot at the championship. Jordan started from pole and never looked back, controlling the race from start to finish. But the real drama was behind him. Quiñones collided with Almario on the opening lap and spun, then clawed his way past Krein—only to spin again and watch his title hopes slip away. Krein kept the pressure on and snatched 2nd in SR1 from Almario on the final lap.
Jordan’s back-to-back victories on Saturday sealed his 2nd consecutive SR3 Challenge Cup title, finishing 56.5 points clear of Caceres. Meanwhile, Turalba capped off a near-perfect debut season with 9 wins from 11 races, sealing the SR1 Challenge Cup title and earning Rookie of the Year honors. The Radical Ricky Cup, a special award in memory of the late Ricky Galang, was presented to Matthew Edmunds for his contribution to the grid.
