Meet the Filipino drivers racing internationally in 2026

There is no shortage of Filipino talent in motorsports, especially on the international stage. Across multiple disciplines and several continents, a new wave of drivers is taking the next step and building careers far beyond home soil.

While many of them are already delivering strong results overseas, what many still need most is support from back home. More fans following their journey. More people cheering them on through the highs and lows. Because in modern motorsport, talent alone is rarely enough. Recognition, sponsorship, and opportunities often follow the drivers who are able to build momentum both on and off the track.

Here are some of the Filipino drivers racing internationally that you should be following in 2026.

KARTING

Axel Nocom | All Japan Kart Championship (EV Division) | IG: @axel_nocom.racing
At just 14, Axel has committed fully to racing overseas, steadily improving with every outing since 2023. That progress paid off with a breakthrough win in the Champions of the Future Academy (COTFA) UAE, followed by a strong 2nd place finish in Valencia, Spain. He now joins Kondo Racing for a campaign in the EV Division of the All Japan Kart Championship.

Paco Sarmiento | IAME Series Asia & Euro Series | IG: @paco_mms
A relative newcomer, Paco only began karting in 2024 but has quickly established himself as a rising talent. He has a packed 2026 schedule, competing across both Asia and Europe with DoubleR Motorsport.

Seira Kojima | All Japan Kart Championship & COTFA | IG: @kojima.seira_frontrow7racing
The Filipino-Japanese driver brings both experience and representation as one of only two female drivers on this list. The 14-year-old senior karter placed 4th in the FIA Karting Arrive and Drive World Cup in Malaysia last year and continues to compete internationally as she works her way up the motorsport ladder.

Lucas Palacio | WSK Super Master Series | IG: @lucaspalacio_1
At just 11 years old, the youngest driver on the list may also have one of the brightest futures ahead of him. Having started karting at 3 and winning his first race at 6, he has developed into a consistent front-runner in international competition. His performances have attracted the attention of Williams Racing and earned him a place in the F1 team’s Driver Academy.

SINGLE-SEATERS

Danzel Waytan | F110 Cup | IG: @danzel.waytan
After graduating from karting, Danzel quickly found success in Japan by winning the Pro-Am title in the Minutes Endurance Race (MEC) 120. He now transitions into formula racing with KF Motorsport in the F110 Cup as he builds experience in single-seaters.

Jason Smyth | GB4 Championship | IG: @jasonsmyth_
The Filipino-Irish driver enters 2026 with strong momentum after a dominant season in the United Formula Ford Championship, where he won 10 of 12 races. Now competing in GB4 with Douglas Motorsport, he made an immediate impact by finishing 3rd on his debut at Silverstone.

Iñigo Anton | Formula 4 Southeast Asia | IG: @inigo_anton33
A multiple champion locally in slalom, touring cars, and prototypes, Iñigo has successfully transitioned into regional single-seaters. He became the F4 SEA Rookie Champion last year and returns with BlackArts Racing aiming to challenge for the overall title this season.

Bianca Bustamante | Eurocup-3 | IG: @racerbia
Having competed in both W Series and F1 Academy with top teams like Prema and McLaren, Bianca continues to build her career on the international stage. After a season in GB3, she joins Palou Motorsport for a campaign in Eurocup-3 in 2026.

TOURING CARS / GT / PROTOTYPES

Mikey Jordan | Superrace Championship 6000 | IG: @mikey23racing
After dominating the SEAOIL Radical Challenge Philippines, winning back-to-back SR3 titles, the Filipino-American shifts to regional competition. He’s signed up for a full season in the Superrace Championship 6000, driving a 470 hp V8 GR Supra.

Daryl DeLeon | British Touring Car Championship | IG: @daryldeleon_
This Filipino-British driver has rapidly climbed the ranks, from Radical titles to endurance racing success, before breaking into the BTCC. He secured his maiden win and the Rookie Championship last year with West Surrey Racing and continues his campaign in one of the UK’s most competitive series.

Eduardo Coseteng | GT World Challenge Europe | IG: @eduardocosetengracing
Following a stint in British F4, Eduardo transitioned into the ADAC GT Masters, where he spent three seasons racing a BMW M4 GT3. He now moves to the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, driving a Ford Mustang GT3 Evo run by Haupt Racing Team.

Nicky Hays | IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge | IG: @nicky_hays
The Filipino-American brings a diverse background across single-seaters before transitioning to GT racing. After competing in Porsche Carrera Cup and Lamborghini Super Trofeo in North America, he earned a scholarship from IMSA to join the Michelin Pilot Challenge in 2026, driving a BMW M4 GT4 Evo.

Fgani Angelo Salubre | GT Cup Open Europe | IG: @famsalubre
